Simple, yet fresh interior of Frozen

With many stores dotted across Melbourne, Frozen By A Thousand Blessings is Australia’s first frozen yoghurt to use biodynamic milk and yoghurt, and has been for the past 7 years. The popular froyo store at Melbourne Central features a spacious, bright and relaxing interior that coordinates the display of fresh and organic yoghurt flavours on seasonal rotation, with an array of colourful toppings including home made brownies and Anzac slices that guarantees a bite of deliciousness for everyone!

Creating my own “Chocolate Creation”

The good fat: Frozen by a Thousand Blessings use the highest quality yoghurt which is something you can really taste as you try all the flavours – there is a heavenly smooth and rich texture that delicately treads the balance between the natural, sourness of the yoghurt, and the fresh flavouring itself. A personal favourite was would be raw cacao or the activated charcoal – as a huge fan of dark chocolate and just yoghurt itself, I can just see myself gorging through an entire tub of this! The natural essence of the cacao lends itself to a slight bitterness from the high percentage of cacao, whilst the activated charcoal is a lightly sour flavour, that resembles the natural vanilla froyo.

Wide variety of flavours for everyone!

What impressed me the most about Frozen by a Thousand Blessings is how natural all the flavours taste – instead of that high fructose, sugary, and almost lolly-like sweetness some fruit froyo have, the fruit options that were available at the Melbourne Central store, like mango, coconut and pomegranate had the subtlest tinges of sweetness coming from the natural fruit syrups themselves.

Just a small selection of all the toppings available!

Let’s not forgot all the toppings available. The struggle between which flavour popping pearls, freshly baked slices and crumbles, or seasonal fruits to pick and complement our frozen yoghurt bowls was real. If you’re looking for a rich, decadent bite, definitely go for a slice of the fudgey and chocolate brownie, or the smooth vanilla cheesecake slices! Frozen by a Thousand Blessings makes for the perfect, light, refreshing and healthy sweet treat that DEFINITELY won’t make you feel as guilty as devouring a scoop of icecream! 🙂
