Melbourne’s Best Cafes

One hundred Melbourne cafes and 5 years of a food Instagram later, I’ve finally curated a long overdue list of my personal favourite Melbourne brunch cafes! After riding the insurmountable wave of brunch cafes that have been taking over Melbourne (and even globally) over the past few years, safe to say it definitely takes quite a lot of ingenuity for a brunch cafe to surprise me and leave me with a truly lasting impression… so a standard smashed avo probably won’t cut it :P!

The Melbourne brunch scene is one of the most competitive in the world, and whilst you will rarely be left disappointed, it’s still quite a feat for a Melbourne cafe to 100% execute both sweet and savoury dishes, along with serving up a beautiful ambience that leaves you wanting to sit and chat for hours on end.

It was REALLY difficult to select just a few of my favourite Melbourne cafes to keep this list worthwhile, but I’ve added a link to each cafe’s respective blog post and suggested a signature dish from each (or my favourite dish!)
