50000 cities. 192 countries. Being able to travel and experience all of this is one of life’s greatest pleasures. My Instagram feed is filled with stunning moments captured by travel photographers – so in the end, I end up with a never-ending bucket list of adventures, hoping that someday, these photoshopped pixels on my phone become pixels of reality.

The idea behind this travel blog is mostly to make sure that when I’m old and wrinkly, I haven’t forgotten how we almost got blown off a bridge in the middle of an Icelandic storm, how we tread through Mariposa amidst the floating snowflakes, or how a delayed flight ended up with a spontaneous trip to Vancouver.

Travelling in Europe in 2017 across 30+ cities really gave me the travel bug and ever since, I aim to hit 100 cities by the end of 2019! (That moment you realise it’s only 0.02% of the world…) Being a young traveller, my itineraries are generally quite packed with sightseeing, nature hikes and LOTS of walking – but even if that isn’t you, I hope that these posts still provide some insight into the culture and tips for every place!

Which cities have I been to?
