EOSS YOGHURT (product review): There are some things I can’t go without on a daily basis, that includes, egg, milk, fruit and of COURSE yoghurt – my favourite flavour, being Greek Yoghurt. EOSS is an Australian owned company and Melbourne based brand of premium Greek Yoghurt from Carrum Downs. Having won a multitude of titles at the Fine Food awards for several years running now and have won Best Greek Yoghurt in Australia by The Diary Industry of Australia recently! They have over 17 different flavours for retail purchase along with Melbourne’s cafes.
The good fat: EOSS is a strained yoghurt, not stirred. It means we strain out the whey (the milk serum that separates from the mass after cooking), so thickeners aren’t required to keep consistency. That’s what makes it authentic strained Greek yoghurt! I love it when processed foods are made from all natural ingredients, and EOSS is gluten free, permeate free and contains no preservatives, thickeners, additives or gelatine – make it the perfect snack.

Not to mention, they have a HUGE variety of different yoghurts that also come in perfect snack-sized portions. My personal favourite would be the caramel crumble – with the thick, creamy texture of the yoghurt, blending with the Anzac cookie crumble and small drizzles of caramel sauce, it makes me feel like I’m eating cheesecake without all the added sugar and guilt! Luckily, for fruit fanatics, they also have many fresh, fruity flavours like passionfruit, mango, raspberry and strawberry – all blending deliciously with that perfect, thickened consistency of the Greek yoghurt. YUM!
