WINGS OF GLORY, MELBOURNE CBD: If you ever need a quick Melbourne restaurant (fast food-styled) for some solid chicken wings, then Wings of Glory is your place. An affordable place in a convenient location for those late night Melbourne crawls with tasty chicken wings and accompanying dishes!

10 Piece Combo w. Cous Cous Salad – $13.4
The good fat: The cous cous salad was such a surprise for me – you never expect a fast food place to dish up a healthy, flavoursome salad that’s refreshing but also provides a slight spicy tang! The medium buffalo wings were a nice and saucy without being too spicy whilst the BBQ was slightly sweeter. A chicken twist on the Melbourne food cult of the “Halaal Snack Pack”, the Buffalo Snack Pack, is loaded with tender pieces of boneless chicken, potato slices and loaded with a calorie-defying BBQ and buffalo sauce – a delicious meal for one of those careless, guilt-free eating days!

Mac and Cheese Balls – $8.0
The bad fat: The Mac and Cheese balls were a little bland in flavour, and wasn’t very melted or cheesy on the inside. Despite loving their twist of the iconic Melbourne food, I was a bit disappointed when the snack pack got incredibly congealed, solid and cold – it became very difficult to eat with all the cheese + potato + chicken stuck together like a solid block. Celery and carrot sticks on the side of a wings combo seem to be a little bit of a sad attempt to be “healthy” and the vegetables themselves were a bit dry and not that fresh.

Buffalo Snack Pack – $13.9
