BEIGEL BAKE, Bricklane: There are 2 competing Jewish beigel places right next to each other, both with huge lines out the store during prime lunch time – after all, the beigels were super tasty, filling and of course, cheap! It’s always nice to find an affordable place in London hearty enough to fill you up and Beigel Bake certainly fits this description. We got a couple to share and I was definitely happy with the overall texture and value for money 🙂
Cream Cheese Salmon Beigel – $1.4

Love the hints of white cream cheese and reddy salmon slices!
The good fat: Delicious bread that was chewy but soft on the inside, and the sesame seeds on the outside gave it that awesome nutty flavour. The cream cheese was light with a deliciously subtle cheesey flavour coated smoothly over the dough. The salmon inside was tender and fresh with huge portions of it! With such a great beigel base you can’t go wrong with a classic cream cheese and salmon!! Also awesome value for money as the portion size was pretty big and there was a huge portion of salmon inside.
The bad fat: I wish the bagel was toasted because that would’ve been perfect and brought out the flavours of the sesame seeds!
SHOULD YOU GET FAT HERE?
YES! So tasty, hearty and all-round delicious texture I would definitely go back
