MORK CHOCOLATE BREW HOUSE, NORTH MELBOURNE: A bright, and sunny little cafe near quite a few famous brunch places, this Chocolate Brewery is my new go-to destination for delicious hot chocolate and desserts – they have managed to perfect the balance between the delicious density of chocolateyness and sweetness! There is an added bonus of vanilla sparkling water upon arrival which is not only creative and unique, but also quite cleansing and delicious to drink.
Campfire Hot Chocolate (Hot Chocolate, Beechwood Smoke and Toasted Marshmallow) – $8.0

Look at that mystical cup of smoke on the left wooohh
The good fat: Stunning aesthetics! How can you criticise something that is encased in a beautiful glass of smoke? The smoke not only adds mystery but also a subtle undertone of charredness to a standard hot chocolate. The marshmallow is delicious, and melts slowly in the hot chocolate to thicken its texture and add a certain sweetness to it. The chocolate is delicious and rich without being sickening – and just the right portion size as well.
The bad fat: Price is a bit steep as the hot chocolate itself is still pretty normal.

Flourless Chocolate Cake – $8.0

The chocolateyness of this just makes me drool 😛
The good fat: Amazing texture – very smooth and creamy chocolate cake that just melts in the mouth. The chocolate is rich and dark, with the layer on top being slightly more mousse-like than the bottom. Definitely would recommend this for all chocolate fanatics. It’s also a great portion size particularly for sharing (although I could probably eat the whole thing) but it’s not too rich or sweet and just encompasses a perfect balance of both chocolate taste and texture!
The bad fat: Nothing! (Could also have nuts on the side if the chocolate is too much for some people)
Fat-o-meter: 4.5/5
SHOULD YOU GET FAT HERE?
YES – Absolute must for all chocolate lovers!
